Muckraking journalist Wayne Madsen arrested in Alexandria while meeting with a source

Yes, Virgina, we really do have a police state.  Wayne Madsen, one of the few remaining independent investigative journalists, was arrested for being drunk in public, although no blood test or sobriety test was administered.  Madsen, his source, and his source's wife, were in a noisy bar at the time, jam packed with St. Patrick's Day revelers.

In his own words:

Last night, while meeting the source in O’Connell’s Irish pub in Alexandria, Alexandria police, who apparently had plainclothes police inside the St. Patrick’s Day-jam packed establishment, arrested my source for no apparent reason while I and the source’s wife looked on in shock. When I asked one of the men who forced the source to the ground outside why they were placing him under arrest, he shouted to me to “back off.” I asked the man if he was a police officer. His response was, “No, I’m a fireman.”
 
I then told the “fireman” that I was a member of the press, produced my credentials, and wanted to know what the charges were against my source. He then motioned to someone behind me who shoved me up against a police SUV and placed me in handcuffs.
 
I was taken to Alexandria city jail and booked for “drunk in public.” Of course, there was no blood test or field sobriety test administered by anyone, police or “firemen,” to prove the spurious charge.
 
Then again, I did not have it as bad as some people who have been victims of America’s “justice” system. I was not hooded, chained, placed on a plane for God-knows-where and subjected to torture by brutish Third World interrogators. Nor was I placed in solitary confinement without seeing the light of day. However, I was not permitted to speak to an attorney nor was I read my Miranda rights in this Kafkaesque post-Miranda era.
 
I am also quite concerned about the fate of my source whom I only saw once in the “lockup.” The cops were extremely physically rough with him for some unknown reason.
 
There was also something very unsettling about the police retaining custody of my reporter’s notebook for some three hours while I was under arrest.

Madsen's trial is scheduled for March 25 at 9:30 am in the Circuit Court in Alexandria at 520 King Street in Room 201.  All who value a free press are urged to attend.

Now I get it!  It was right in front of my eyes all this time!

Why did US Army Information System Command search for a photo of me?

I occasionally browse through the stats for this blog, to see how people find me and how they use the site.  My attention was piqued when I saw that someone had ended up on my site after googling <sheila casey photo>  Hmmm, I mused, is someone so riveted by my deathless prose that he is smitten and must, absolutely must, know what I look like? 

Not so.  After digging a bit more I found that the Google search came from an Army outfit in Georgia.  It appeared like this:

The photos at the top are presumably of the more well known Sheila Casey, wife of General George Casey.  So if the Army wanted a photo of her, they didn't need to go any further.  But someone clicked on my site instead, and then left, as my photography category is about photographers, not photos of me.

There are no photos of me anywhere online, as far as I know, although there is this photo of my evil twin Shelia (we spell our names differently.) But we look nothing alike. 

For one, I hate hats and never wear a hat.

Sounds to me like a whole bunch of words designed to disguise what they're really doing.

It's not the first time I've had visitors from the military indutrial complex.  My anthrax articles have drawn visitors from Battelle Memorial Labs in Fairfax, VA and someone in Dugway, Utah.  Battelle Memorial Labs is an Army  contractor that runs labs in Jefferson, Ohio and Dugway, Utah. 

Battelle has been developing weaponized anthrax for at least a decade.  I suspect they read what's written about them to gauge how close the public is to figuring out that a heap of evidence points directly at them as the most likely source for the weaponized anthax that killed five people in fall 2001.

Why would US Army Information System Command want a picture of me?  Of course I believe that our government is completely, utterly, irredeemably corrupt, but that makes me no different that millions of other clear-eyed patriots.

I'm not given to paranoia, and perhaps they really were searching for an image of the wife of General George Casey, but this makes me just a wee bit uneasy. I'm well aware that truth tellers, aka "enemies of the state," often meet with untimely ends, as I have chronicled here:

It would be flattering, actually, to have these spooks think I'm enough of a threat to the criminal cabal that runs this country, to actually care what I look I like.  But it wouldn't be flattering to be dead.

On that note, I'd like to mention that I'm feeling very well, not experiencing any mental anguish, and other than getting over a cold, my health is good.  Just mentioning this in passing....

In connection with their fundraising drive, PBS affiliate KBDI is showing Aaron Russo's 180 minute film "Freedom to Fascism," and interviewed trial attorney Earl Staelin of Colorado 9/11 Visibility on the air. 

Big props to KBDI for surging out ahead and leaving all other TV stations in the dust!

This 10 minute video is an excellent introduction to the New World Order and the plan for a global dictatorship that will oppress all of humanity in the manner depicted in George Orwell's classic distopian novel 1984. 

Between images of vegged out people munching snacks in front of their TV sets, we see clips of world leaders such as former US Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and ominipresent bad guy Henry Kissinger -- all predicting the coming of a New World Order.  Clearly, these chaps want us to think the NWO will be a good thing, a glorious new day for humanity.

Interestingly, the outcry from the media has come primarily from the right, in the form of Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck.  Although sounding the alarm about the coming totalitarian government and the approaching North American Union, neither broadcaster appears to make the connection with the massive shredding of the Constitution initiated by the Bush administration and continued by Obama.  (I say "appears" because I don't watch their shows and cannot attest to what they have not covered.)

Lou Dobbs: 

It's a new world order they're trying to create...despite the popular will.  This is a straight-forward assault by the elitists in this country.

Glenn Beck:

One world currency and a one world financial system is the end game.

Deceased film maker Aaron Russo, producer of The Rose and Trading Places, states:

Most people don't have a clue that unelected private bankers actually control the governments of the world.

Former Libertarian candidate from Montana, Stan Jones, as recorded in a pre-election debate on C-Span:

It's no longer a theory. What I am about to say is fact.  The secret organizations of the world power elite are no longer secret.  They have planned, and are now leading us, into a one world communist government.

The most eloquent and far-sighted visionary about the coming New World Order is David Icke.  I must admit, I find the idea that the elite are actually shape-shifting lizards hard to swallow.  But I dismiss nothing out of hand, for in the past 20 months, my long-held beliefs about virtually everything have been uprooted and replaced by a more clear eyed view of reality.  Not so long ago, I believed that:

• the USA was a basically good country
• 9/11 was planned by Muslim terrorists
• Martin Luther King was killed by James Earl Ray
• Robert F. Kennedy was killed by Sirhan Sirhan
• The OKC bombing was the work of Tim McVeigh
• elections mean something
• vaccines protect our health
• AIDS is caused by HIV
• I was well-informed because I read The New York Times
• and on and on -- the number of subjects I was wrong about -- that most people are wrong about  -- is unfortunately huge. 

I know better now.  Since I was so wrong -- even while so sure I was right -- about so many things, I am now much more open minded.  I'll consider anything if someone has credible evidence to show me.  Lizards?  Yes, that's a tough one.  But even presuming that Icke is 100% wrong about the lizards, he appears to be 100% right about many other things.  His comments in this clip from 1996 -- 13 years ago--are spot on. 

The media report the world as if presidents and prime ministers are the final arbiters and decision makers in the world.  Which means that the people above the level of presidents and prime ministers that really make the decisions, they're never looked at or exposed by the mainstream media, cause they're not accepted to exist. 

In 1940, science fiction writer H.G. Wells wrote:  

Countless people, from maharajas to millionaires, from pukka sahibs to petty ladies, will hate the new world order, be rendered unhappy by frustration of their passions and ambitions through its advent, and will die protesting against it.  When we attempt to estimate its promise we have to bear in mind the distress of a generation or so of malcontents, many of them quite gallant and graceful-looking people.

Uber-conspiracy researcher Alex Jones is a much attacked visionary who started researching, and putting two and two together, fifteen years ago.  Jones exhorts us to not lose hope, he believes the plans for the NWO can be thwarted:

Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, has a piece on Infowars that lays out his view that the collapse of our economy is being done intentionally from the highest (or should we say lowest) people in our government.

Four months after this program aired, Congressman Larry P. McDonald was dead. Coincidence?

This 17 minute video shows Congressman McDonald revealing the New World Order on Crossfire in May 1983.  By September 1, 1983, McDonald was dead. 

McDonald didn't die peacefully in his sleep, of a heart attack, or choking on a ham sandwich.  He died in the shootdown of KAL 007 on September 1, 1983.

Seven years earlier, McDonald had said:

The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining super capitalism and Communism under the same tent; all under their control... Do I mean conspiracy?  Yes I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent.

The man on our left is Tom Braden, who was with the OSS, then the CIA.  In this interview with McDonald, Braden is clearly alarmed and pulls out all the stops to discredit and mock McDonald.  Braden uses the word "conspiracy," over and over, which even by 1983 had apparently acquired the connotation of a belief in a plot so ridiculous that we are meant to laugh.  By using the C word repeatedly, he means to belittle McDonald's views, and at the very end, as he breaks into a smile, it becomes obvious that he intends to convey that he finds McDonald's views so preposterous that it gives him a chuckle. 

According to Wikipedia,  Braden had this to say about how the CIA co-opts and manipulates world leaders with money:

Suppose he just thought, this man can use fifty thousand dollars, he's working well and doing a good job - he could hand it to him and never have to account to anybody.... There was simply no limit to the money it could spend and no limit to the people it could hire and no limit to the activities it could decide were necessary to conduct the war - the secret war.... It was a multinational. Maybe it was one of the first. Journalists were a target, labor unions a particular target - that was one of the activities in which the communists spent the most money.

Survive the collapse of society as we know it

Dmitry Orlov advises: 

What I generally tell people is that, during the collapse, most people will lose most of their money...the important thing is to avoid losing all your money at once, but to coast down gently, while coming up with ways to survive without money, by relying on personal connections and relationships, home production of various kinds, barter, favors, gifts, and so forth.

I made the horrific discovery in August, 2007, that our world is ruled by a criminal cabal that is engineering the destruction of the world economy, to force us into servitude and a one world fascist dictatorship.  I have seen nothing since then to make me change my mind about this. In fact, due to the amazing gullibility and complacency of the American people, the plan is unfolding even faster than I expected. 

Since late 2007 I've been urging friends to investigate 9/11 and the shadow government.  I sold what I had in the stock market in August '08 and started advising people to stock up on non-perishable food in September.  If you have land, a vegetable garden is an excellent idea. 

Does this seem too far out to believe?  Ask yourself:  If I were a victim of propaganda, how would I know?  Their control is not yet complete.  There are still ways to learn the truth if you are determined to do so.  The story of my awakening is here.

In a book published in 1970 by former FBI agent, BYU professor and Salt Lake City police chief Skousen, the author warns: 

...a gigantic complex of political and economic power which would cover the whole earth...is on the verge of becoming a total reality.

Skousen's book was based on the writings of Carroll Quigley, Bill Clinton's history professor at Georgetown University, who wrote in 1966: 

...the powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole.

Georgia Congressman and Democrat Larry P. McDonald said: 

The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining supercapitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control... Do I mean conspiracy? Yes I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent.

McDonald candidly discussed this vast conspiracy on Crossfire in May 1983 and was killed four months later in the shootdown of KAL 007 over the USSR.  The video of McDonald on Crossfire is here.

J. Edgar Hoover: 

The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists.

There are more of us than there are of them.  My hope was, that if enough of us could wake up before it was too late, we had some chance of forestalling a terrible fate.  My blog has had 12,500 unique visitors in the past two months, and the Rock Creek Free Press distributes 18,000 copies every month, but this is miniscule compared to the influence of our corrupt and complicit mainstream media.

Ron Paul: What if?

Those who are still trapped in the false left-right political spectrum don't know quite what to make of me.  Leftists who disagree with me think I must be a secret right-winger, and right-wingers of course think I'm a leftist. 

Truth is, our enemy right now is authoritarianism, and that can come in the guise of fascism, communism, or a combination of the two.  Republicans are big on defense, so the justification for expanding government in the Bush years was the wars in the middle east.  Liberals are supposedly big on government programs to help the needy at home, so in the Obama administration we will see government expanded under that pretext.  But the political spectrum is not a line, it's a circle.  If you go all the way to the left (communism) you are not at all far from the extreme right (fascism). 

What we need now is for this massive conglomeration of power at the federal level to break up, with some power redistributed to the states and counties, and  governmental power overall reduced enormously.  Both communism and fascism have the power to enslave us equally.

That said, one of the very few whom I admire in Congress is Texas Republican Ron Paul.  This great speech of his has been set to music by Metallica and written out in a creative way that adds oomph.  Once you start it, you will watch to the end.  Guaranteed.
